I find it to be a nice tire for both the street and the occasional track day or autocross. I blow off the tires now even in 3rd, but was happy with it back with ported eaton and then my kb. Looking at a change as i'm fed up with.

R888r's cost more than $100 per tire compared to the nt555rs and the r888r's are noisy. The ra1 and r888 will wear out much quicker than the r1r. My guess is that with a bit more time on the r888r i could run them maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of a second faster than the bridgestones.

Dry grip is very similar. The r1r are only good for 1 hotlap on a 3000lb 460whp evo before they overheat. So it will change your gearing/speedometer a little bit.

Both the r888r and mpsc2 come in a 305/3019 size. But there was a consistant 3 second difference. Im going to put a set on my s15 16 stock rims and use them at qr and the drags.
